Join YTI and Audacity in learning how to become a teaching artist! This 4-session course is designed to prepare Teaching Artists to enter any K-12 school environment, assured in their skills and talents, to inspire in their students a desire for creative self-expression. As part of our course, you will tell the story of your path up to now, then you will create a personal statement that takes your journey forward with our team. As an Audacity Teaching Artist, you are the professional—be it self-trained and/or certified in your artform—given a classroom to share your focus and methods for self-expression in ways no one else can.

The Audacity Performing Arts Project, Inc. engages Silicon Valley, Title 1 schools in all aspects of inclusion-based theater productions and artistic programming. In collaborative partnerships with school districts, teaching artists and students, Audacity explores the performing arts at the intersection of technology. Through accessible, quality arts education and experiences, students devise their own path to personal empowerment, self discovery and higher education.
